About Jennifer
I’m passionate about supporting individuals of all ages—youth, adults, and couples—on their journey toward positive change and personal growth. My approach is warm, approachable, and nonjudgmental, and I strive to create an inclusive and supportive space where you can feel safe to explore your thoughts and emotions. I offer person-centered, holistic therapy designed to meet your unique needs and help you achieve lasting, meaningful transformation.
I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, as well as a Bachelor of Human Ecology, a Bachelor of Education, and a Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Counselling from the University of Manitoba. With 15 years of experience in education, I've worked closely with children and adolescents in both teaching and school counselling roles.
Over the years, I’ve developed expertise in helping individuals navigate challenges such as anxiety, ADHD, trauma, anger, self-harm, OCD, and self-regulation. With a deep understanding of the unique pressures faced by professionals in the education sector, I am passionate about offering tailored therapy services to educators. The stressors and emotional demands of working in education can be overwhelming, and I am here to provide much-needed support in navigating these challenges.
Whether you're seeking to address specific challenges or looking for overall personal growth, I’m here with you.
My practice is proudly 2SLGBTQIA+ allied, ensuring that all individuals feel seen, heard, and respected.
Lemon Honey Therapy deeply honours and acknowledges the Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, Dene, and Métis peoples as the original stewards of the lands on Treaty 1 Territory, where we are humbled to reside. We hold profound respect for the sacred treaties made on these lands, understanding them as enduring agreements based on mutual respect and shared responsibility. With hearts open to truth and reconciliation, we are committed to walking alongside Indigenous communities, fostering relationships built on respect, trust, and a shared vision for a just and equitable future.

I hold a Masters in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree with a major in Psychology from the University of Winnipeg. With over 6 years in the mental health field, I have worked closely with adults and teens in both counselling and support work roles.
I have developed expertise in assisting individuals with challenges such as trauma, addictions, anxiety, ADHD, emotional regulation, self-harm and suicidal ideation. As a Metis counsellor, I have a special interest in helping others of Indigenous heritage navigate their cultural identities and generational trauma. Helping others to find balance in their lives, and to walk their own path of healing is something I cherish about the therapy process, and I aim to provide a safe, personalized experience to all that I walk with on their journeys.
